School
Year in Austria
A school year abroad represents an unforgettable
experience. You will meet new friends, such as teachers, schoolmates
from your class and your language course, host siblings and neighbours.
You will discover the tradition and culture of a foreign country and
will have fun with your new friends during study sessions, excursions
and physical exercise.
Vienna: Feel at home in the heart
of Europe
Austria is not only beautiful and appealing,
it is also one of the safest countries in the world. Its capital Vienna
offers an exceptional quality of life, is green, safe and multifaceted.
A reliable public transport system connects famous sights like St. Stephan’s
cathedral, Belvedere and Schönbrunn castle, house Hundertwasser and
takes you from your accommodation to ActiLingua Academy and later to
your school.
In your free time you discover the city, go to the movies, to a concert,
visit Viennese Prater or work out at your sport club.

Visa
Most of our students have little trouble
getting a visa for their stay in Austria. EU citizens and citizens of
Island, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland do not need a visa at
all. Citizens of some countries need to apply for a visa for stays longer
than three months.
Citizens of some countries (esp. Turkey, Russia and CIS-states) may
find it difficult to get a visa for stays longer than 3 months. In this
case, we recommend that you come to Austria for 3 months at first, return
to your country and then come back for a second study period. Detailed
information please find on our information sheet "Visa
Information". |
