German and study music at the Vienna
Conservatorium. In cooperation with the Conservatorium,
ActiLingua Academy is offering an opportunity to combine a German
course with music studies at the Conservatorium. |

Programme
German course of your choice (i.e. Standard
course, Intensive
course or German
for life) for 4 weeks to 12 months, with 20 to 30 German lessons
and 5 lessons cultural and leisure programme per week. In the afternoon
you receive one individual instrumental or voice lesson per week and
one theoretical supplementary subject per week at the Conservatorium.
German
course
German course of your choice with 20 to 30 German lessons and 5 lessons
(2-3 times) cultural and leisure programme per week. You study German
for 4 or 6 daily lessons from Monday to Friday in small international
groups following a recognized curriculum. Our cultural programme with
its city walks, talks and other activities promotes insights into Austrian
culture and music.
- Standard Course: You study
German in 20 weekly lessons. 5 weekly lessons of cultural and leisure
programme are included in the price.
- Intensive Course: 10 weekly
German lessons in especially small study groups in addition to your
Standard course.
- Insider-tip: All German courses
with a duration of 12 or more weeks are reduced by up to 25%!
(German for Life 1 or 2 - this discount is already considered
in our pricelist.)
Cultural and leisure
programme
Cultural and leisure activities are organized 2 to 3
times per week (5 lessons) and are included in the price. Talks, discussions
on Austrian music, art, literature, tours of the sights of Vienna, parties
and sports – all form part of this programme.
Music at the Conservatoriums
Music instruction takes place at the
Vienna Conservatorium which is about 20 minutes from ActiLingua Academy
by underground. About 600 students from all over the world study music
at the institute. Instruction for music students and professionals and
lessons for enthusiastic amateurs are available.
- Practical lessons: You receive
one individual instrumental or voice lesson per week.
- Theoretical lessons: One theoretical
subject per week, such as musical history, composition, acoustics,
instrumental tuition.
- Practice in orchestra, chamber
music or choir. Practice facilities available at the Conservatorium.
Diplomas
Conservatorium certificate testifying
the attended lessons and the educational level, ActiLingua certificate.
Applicants
requirements
- Beginners of German can start the
German course and practical music lessons at the same time.
- Good knowledge of German is necessary
to follow the theoretical lessons at the Conservatorium.
