Host Families : Location
Your
accomodation will be located in the Antibes/Juan
les Pins area, close to your French Language school.
However, accommodation within walking distance
of the language school may not always be possible.
In which case, students may have to take public
transportation (bus) in order to reach the school
(30 minutes maximum).
A small number of host families live in very attractive
villas accessible only by car. We would be grateful,
therefore, if you would inform us as to whether
you have your own transportation.
About our host
families :
Our selected host families will offer you a welcoming
house where you will be able to speak French easily.
While staying in a host
family, you will be in a full immersion. So, you
will be able to learn the French culture and share
the life of your hosts.
Car are
on hire from the school and mopeds can be easily
found in Antibes Juan les Pins.
French
Host Families : Description of the
rooms
Choose between a
single room or a double room with twin beds. For
student placed in a shared room, we will do our
best to accommodate him with a student of another
mother tongue.
The size of the rooms is
irregular, depending on the host family.
There is generally no telephone
in the room, however, the student may use the
family telephone, if they agree with this (a charge
will be made). Otherwise, public phones are at
the students disposal at "l'école
Le Château".

Your family provides you with daily breakfast
included in the stay price.
Half-board (on request while booking) includes
daily dinners with the family.
Week End lunches (on request while booking)
with the family.
Etter undervisningen er lunsj tilgjengelig,
enten som buffet (til selvkost) ved "l'école
Le Château". Prisene er ca 9 Euro
for komplett måltid, eller du kan spise lunsj
ved Le Latino som ligger 70 m
fra "l'école du Port" (10-13
Euro for dagens rett).

Sengetøy holdes av familien, og gis til studenten
for hele oppholdet og byttes hver uke.
Transfer
: Your host family will pick you up at the
Antibes or Juan les Pins railway station
or at the Nice airport and will take you
back on the day of your departure

Students
are asked to respect all the factors associated
with living in someone else's home, including
the possibility of giving up some independence.
Students are asked to keep up their room to
maintain a reasonable state of cleanliness
and the room must be cleaned before departure.
Towels are not provided.
Some host families are happy to lend the students
their washing machine. Please note however,
that this is no obligation.

Assignment to a family : The school is unable
to guarantee that students are placed with
the host family of their choice, irrespective
of how early the booking was made. However,
please do not hesitate to let us know your
preferences and the CIA will do its best to
accommodate your request.
Transfer to your family: Your host family
will collect you from the station or airport.
If you arrive by car, agree on a meeting
point that will be easy for you to find
(motorway exit, central post office, etc...).
Single/Double room : Double occupancy is
not allowed for students over 25 unless
bookings are made simultaneously.
Husdyr: Noen
familier vil kunne tillate at du bringer
din katt eller hund, men dette må
avtales på forhånd.
